My first actual 'freeform' creation using colored pencils, hence the 'childlike' hand. I'm so used to using 'constructs' in my art, that letting go is as much of a challenge as my aim for perfection. Absolute perfection is unattainable and coming to grips with that can sometimes cause a psyche meltdown. I've been gifted five new drawing books from my artist father so I can learn....How To Let Go. This piece is Me learning about 'burnishers', 'blenders' and other pencil tools, I think it will make a nice 'progression' start...a year from now, let's see how my hand does. Colored pencil on paper, 11x14.
